About me and this website
I am a registered dietitian living in Edmonton working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta. I do research on food literacy and food environments, with a focus on digital food environments. In simple terms, I study how the internet is influencing the way that we eat. From getting fast food with food delivery apps to developing cooking skills with meal kits or learning about nutrition on Instagram, the Internet is changing how we shop and prepare food and learn about nutrition. My goal is to understand these changes and how we, as health professionals, can help the public adapt to them. This is a personal webpage to share my research projects and interests.
